The vegetable washing line is a fully automatic washing system designed to remove dust, sand, pesticide residues, and microorganisms from the surface of fresh vegetables and fruits.

It has been developed to increase hygiene standards and accelerate production processes in food processing facilities.

 

WASHING STAGES AND SYSTEM FLOW

The vegetable washing line consists of three main integrated sections:

1. Feeding Unit:

Ensures controlled loading of products into the vegetable washing machine. It operates at a constant speed to minimize operator error and is designed to achieve consistent and standard cleaning quality.

2. Pre-Washing Section:

At this stage, products are cleaned of coarse dirt using high-flow water. This improves the bacteriological efficiency of the main washing machine and prevents excessive contamination of the washing water, reducing daily water replacement frequency and overall water consumption.

3. Main Washing Section:

In this section, where bacteriological washing takes place, products are rotated using pressurized spray nozzles. Thanks to the integrated ozone system (5 g/hour), vegetables and fruits are completely cleaned of surface bacteria, pesticide residues, yeast, and mold.

Natural and safe disinfection is achieved without the use of chemicals.

HYGIENE AND MATERIAL QUALITY

The entire system is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel.

Water used in the washing line is continuously recirculated through a special filtration and sedimentation system, ensuring both water savings and high hygiene levels.

 

 

CAPACITY AND APPLICATION AREAS

The industrial vegetable and fruit washing line can be modularly designed according to production requirements.

• Light leafy products: 400–700 kg/hour

• Heavy vegetables and fruits (e.g. carrots, tomatoes, apples): 1200–1500 kg/hour or more

The system is ideal for food processing plants, catering facilities, and industrial kitchens handling high product volumes.
